Geboren 1973 habe ich die meiste Zeit meines Lebens in der Bodenseeregion verbracht. Der See und die bezaubernden Landschaften der Region sind für mich Inspiration und Kraftquelle zugleich. Beruflich übe ich eine Bürotätigkeit im Öffentlichen Dienst aus. Mein Interesse an der Fotografie als Hobby begann auf einer meiner Reisen nach Australien im Jahr 2001.

Fotografie ist für mich die beste Möglichkeit, um runter zu kommen und um die Wunder der Natur fest zu halten. Fotografieren bedeutet für mich aber auch einen wichtigen Kontrast zu meinem beruflichen Alltag. Ich nutze daher jede Möglichkeit vom Schreibtisch weg zu kommen und in die Natur hinaus zu gehen. Glücklicherweise habe ich es nicht weit und meine liebsten Motive sind zum Greifen nahe: der Bodensee und die Berge. Ich bin dankbar in dieser wunderschönen und internationalen Region leben zu dürfen. Ich bin aber auch sehr gerne unterwegs. Daher freue ich mich über jede Gelegenheit Menschen und neue Regionen kennen zu lernen.

In meinen Arbeiten möchte ich Licht, Wetter und Motiv möglichst perfekt in Einklang bringen, so dass ein außergewöhnliches Bild entsteht. Meine Bilder sind mein persönlicher Blick auf die Welt und die Schönheit von Mutter Natur. Auch sind sie Ausdruck meiner Freude an der Fotografie, die ich hier mit Euch teilen möchte.

Born 1973 I have spent most time of my life at the Lake of Constance. The lake and the lovely landscapes of the region are  my inspiration and source of energy at the same time. Usually, I‘m doing an office job as a Public Servant. My interest for photography as a hobby arose in year 2001.

Photography means for me the best way to calm down and to soak up the wonders of Mother Nature. It is also an important contrast to my work life in the office. Hence, I use all occasions to get away from my desk and get out into nature. Fortunately, I don't have to go far. The Lake of Constance and the mountains are very close to my home. I‘m grateful to live in this wonderful and international region. However, I also like to travel. I‘m always happy about every occasion to meet people and getting to know new regions.

In my works I want to compose light, weather conditions and subject in a perfect way in order to create an extraordinary picture. My pictures represent my view to our world and the beauties of Mother Nature. I'd like to share my passion for photography here with you.
